Microchipping

As from the 1st March 2009 a microchipping service will be available




If you are interested in having your pet microchipped, we are happy to do this for a small fee to cover the cost of the chip and to help boost the funds for rescue.

All my staff have now been fully trained by a veterinary surgeon in the implantation procedure.

All microchips will be registered on the PETLOG database which is owned and managed by the Kennel Club.  PETLOG is the UK's largest pet reunifiation database and is the only UK database that is part of the European-wide pet registration scheme.

The microchips use the latest technology (FDX-B) and can be read by any ISO scanner (used by the RSPCA, vets and other animal welfare organisations).

The chip is also fully compliant with the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS)
